SAT Class FAQs
How much can students improve their SAT score?
SAT score improvement depend student focus and investment. According to data, the majority of our students see 150+ score increases. Students who participate fully but don't improve by 100 points may be eligible for a refund or additional support. Read about our Score Guarantee here
What is included in the class?
Each class includes an (at-home) diagnostic test, a final full practice test (in-class), core concept lessons for Math and Reading, and proven test-taking strategies. Upon completion of the class, all students receive a personalized study plan to follow until test day.
How is the Digital SAT different from the old SAT?
The Digital SAT is shorter, adaptive (adjusts difficulty based on your performance), and taken on a computer. Our curriculum and strategy is fully updated for the digital format, including instructions on Desmos.
When should I start preparing for the SAT?
We recommend starting at least 2-3 months before your test date. Ideally, students should take their first SAT by spring of Junior year. Students should plan to test at minimum twice, in order to properly account for the variable difficulty of exams.
What if my child misses a day?
Students can attend up to 2 online make-up sessions on Saturdays. We recommend attending all live sessions for best results.
Do you offer 1-on-1 SAT tutoring?
Yes! If you prefer individualized attention or need flexible scheduling, we offer private SAT tutoring. We also recommend ongoing private tutoring after the group class ends for students seeking large improvements.
