Hi, I'm Jason Hwang

I am the founder and lead instructor at Aspire Coding Academy. I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from Rice University and bring years of experience as both a software engineer and educator. My teaching journey began in high school, tutoring friends for the SAT, and later grew into roles like Head Teaching Assistant at Rice University.

A lot of people say they want to learn coding but struggle to move beyond tutorials. The truth is that there are a lot of solid resources online (for example, Harvard’s CS50). But static content can only go so far in a complex field like programming.
